Lisa Ito (she/her/hers) is a Japanese American illustrator and data visualization designer from northern New Jersey, currently based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. With a background in Communication Design, her primary focus is bringing clarity to every initiative, whether in the form of an interactive chart, diagrammatic illustration, narrative art installation, or operationalized dashboard.

Most recently, she has graduated from MICA with a degree in MPS in Data Analytics & Visualization, and is most interested in the intersection between narrative illustration and data storytelling.

When she is taking a break from the screen, she is likely starting a new crochet project, playing tag with Hemlock (“Hemi”), her black cat, or planning a ski trip.
